Benediction

Our March newsletter ended with the following verses: Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25  The Definition This was the benediction spoken over the congregation at church last Sunday and it has really stuck with me through the week. I looked up "benediction" at merriam-webster.com : "The invocation of a blessing . " And just to make my Bible study ladies proud, I looked up "invocation" as well. And I'm glad I did. Merriam-webster.com said,  "the act or process of petitioning for help or support; a prayer of entreaty; a calling upon for authority or justification."
